Ooh. Not good.

Just spent 2 minutes, 16 seconds laughing maniacally to a recording of "Hall of the Mountain King" from Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 Op. 46 (1876).

I like classical music.

It makes me happy... so very happy.

(I think I may need to add a pbpbpbty category soon...)

There's a lot of bassoon in the Hall of the Mountain King. I've played it many times!! Still one of my favorites!

I love that piece. It always reminds me of my childhood and the Disney Halloween special where they had the demon coming out of the mountain and all the little demons dancing around him.

I think the Disney song is "Night on Bald Mountain".

That's a good one too.

you're right. There was some cartoon that used Hall of the Mountain King, because I have it on one of those "Disney Classic's CDs" They put classical songs they've used in their cartoons on it.

Cartoons were so much better when they used classical music for the soundtracks...and they were awesome when they used them as the plot.

Kill the Waaaaabbit!
